Rules & Regulations

The Wooden Bat Classic follows standard baseball rules with some tournament-specific regulations. All players must adhere to these rules to ensure fair play and sportsmanship.

General Tournament Rules

All players must be 30 years of age or older
Wooden bats only - no metal or composite bats allowed
Standard 9-inning games (time limits may apply)
MLB official rules apply except where modified by tournament rules
Sportsmanship and respect for umpires is mandatory

Player Eligibility

All players must provide valid identification
No professional players (current or within last 5 years)
Players may only compete for one team
Roster changes must be approved by tournament director

Equipment Regulations

Wooden bats must meet tournament specifications
Helmets with face guards recommended
Metal cleats allowed (check field regulations)
Uniforms must be matching for all team members
